Trolley Bag Manufacturers in Mumbai
We manufacture soft-sided trolley bags in bulk from our own Mumbai line — cabin to check-in sizes on two, four or eight-wheel chassis, in polyester, ballistic nylon, PU and tarpaulin. Built for corporate gifting, group travel, retail private label and institutional issue, with spare wheel and handle kits available alongside bulk orders.
Twelve Formats on a Wheeled Chassis.
A trolley is any bag carried on wheels with a telescopic handle. Remove the chassis and it becomes a duffle or a travel bag. We build soft-sided bodies in house — see the note on hard-shell cases in the specification below.

Wheels and Handle Decide the Lifespan.
Nobody returns a trolley bag because of the fabric. They return it because a wheel sheared off or the handle stopped locking. Both are component and mounting decisions, and both are where a cheap quote hides its savings — so specify them explicitly and ask what is being fitted.
2-Wheel Inline
Recessed, tiltedWheels sit inside the shell, so nothing snaps off in transit. Handles rough floors and kerbs better than a spinner, but you carry part of the weight.
Best for: rough handling, institutional issue4-Wheel Spinner
360°, uprightRolls upright with no load on the wrist. Wheels protrude, so they take the first hit — housing quality is what decides survival.
Best for: airports, gifting, retail appeal8-Wheel Dual Spinner
Paired castorsTwo wheels per corner. Smoother and more stable when fully loaded, and a single wheel failure does not ground the bag.
Best for: heavy loads, premium tiersTelescopic Handle
2 or 3-stageAluminium tube, locking positions and a mounting plate. Riveted mounts on a reinforced panel — not screwed into fabric — is the difference between two years and two months.
Specify: stages, grip, lock positionsWhat You Can Specify.
Trolleys are assemblies, not just sewn bags — body, frame, wheels, handle and locks each carry their own quality decision. This is the full range we build to, including a straight answer on soft versus hard shell.
| Sizes | 20" cabin, 24" medium and 28" large as standard, or built to your dimensions in mm. Two and three-piece nesting sets available. |
|---|---|
| Cabin compliance | Carry-on limits differ by airline and change without notice — commonly around 55 × 35 × 25 cm including wheels and handle. Tell us the airline or the exact limit you must meet and we build to it. |
| Body construction | Soft-sided, made in house — fabric body over an internal frame. Hard-shell polypropylene and polycarbonate cases are injection-moulded, a different process we do not run; we can advise on spec or source them if a mixed programme needs both. Ask at enquiry. |
| Wheels | 2-wheel recessed inline, 4-wheel spinner or 8-wheel dual spinner. PU, TPR or rubber tread, sealed or shielded bearings, replaceable housings. |
| Handle | 2 or 3-stage aluminium telescopic with locking positions, moulded grip, riveted mounting plate on a reinforced panel. |
| Frame & protection | Internal frame or stiffener board, moulded corner guards, base skids, reinforced wheel wells, bar-tacked stress points. |
| Materials | 1680D / 1200D / 900D polyester, ballistic nylon, PU & vegan leather, EVA moulded front panels, tarpaulin on field-grade builds. |
| Expansion | Gusset expansion typically adding 15–25 % volume, with a second zipper line and compression straps inside. |
| Interior | Divider panel, zipped mesh pockets, garment retention straps, shoe pouch, wet pocket, laundry sleeve. |
| Security | Combination or key locks, TSA-style lock options, lockable sliders, anti-theft zip chains, luggage tag window. |
| Branding | Screen print, sublimation, heat transfer, embroidery, moulded or metal logo plate, woven label, branded zip pullers, printed lining. |
| Packing & spares | Poly bag per piece, nested cartons for sets to cut freight volume, and optional spare wheel and handle kits supplied with bulk orders. |
MOQ, Spares, Lead Time & Freight
Order Quantity
No fixed MOQ, though trolleys carry bought-in components — wheels, handles and locks — so very small runs cannot access component pricing. Ask for two or three quantity bands and the break is obvious.
Spare Wheel & Handle Kits
Wheels and handles are the parts that fail, and a grounded bag is usually a five-minute repair. We supply spare kits alongside bulk orders so your stores or facilities team can fix rather than replace.
Lead Time
Longer than soft bags without a chassis, because components are booked and fitted. Confirmed in writing at sample approval. Custom moulded logo plates and specific lock types add time.
Nested Packing & Freight
Trolleys are the bulkiest thing we ship. Sets nest, and cartons can be planned around your container or LTL constraints — on a large order that saving often outweighs a per-unit negotiation.
Ten Lines That Get You a Firm Price
The wheel and handle specification moves a trolley quote more than the fabric does. If you are comparing quotes, make sure every supplier has quoted the same wheel count and handle stages — otherwise you are not comparing the same bag.

Built Like a Supplier You Can Re-Order From.
Trolleys are the most returned product category in bags, and almost always for the same two reasons. These are the reasons buyers stay with us instead.
We Quote the Components, Not Just the Bag
Wheel type, bearing, handle stages and mounting method stated in writing, so you can compare quotes on equal terms instead of on price alone.
Spares Supplied With Bulk Orders
Spare wheel and handle kits mean a failed bag is repaired in minutes rather than written off — which matters most for institutional and hire fleets.
Straight Answer on Soft vs Hard
We manufacture soft-sided bodies. Hard-shell cases are injection-moulded and we say so rather than quoting work we do not run in house.
Samples Meant to Be Tested
Load the sample, roll it, drop it, extend the handle a hundred times. We would rather you break it now than in month two.
Reorder Consistency
Approved samples, component references and fabric shades retained, so a top-up matches the fleet already issued.
One Point of Contact
The same person handles your quote, sample, production update and dispatch — no handovers mid-order.

Trolley Sourcing Questions
No — those are injection-moulded, which is a different manufacturing process to ours. We manufacture soft-sided trolley bodies in house. If your programme needs both, tell us at enquiry: we can advise on hard-shell specification and help you source it, and we will be clear about which part we make and which we do not.
Two recessed inline wheels survive rough handling best because nothing protrudes, but you carry part of the weight. Four-wheel spinners roll upright and sell better, though the wheels take the first impact so housing quality decides lifespan. Eight wheels give stability under heavy load and tolerate a single wheel failure. Tell us the handling environment and we will recommend.
It varies by airline and changes without notice — commonly around 55 × 35 × 25 cm including wheels and handle, with weight limits from 7 kg upwards. Do not rely on the “20 inch” label alone. Send us the airline or the exact limit you have to meet and we build to that dimension.
Yes, and we recommend it on any fleet or institutional order. Both are the parts that fail, and both are usually a five-minute swap. Holding a small spares stock turns a written-off bag into a repair.
Trolleys are assemblies. Wheels, handles, locks and frames are bought-in components that have to be booked, received and fitted, and the mounting work is a separate operation from stitching the body.
We can fit combination, key and TSA-style locks. Note that TSA acceptance is a certification matter tied to the lock manufacturer rather than to us — tell us the destination and requirement and we will specify a lock that meets it.
There is no fixed MOQ, but trolleys carry bought-in components, so very small runs cannot access component pricing and the per-unit cost rises noticeably. Ask for two or three quantity bands to see where it breaks.
Always, and we want you to test it hard — load it, roll it on rough floor, extend and retract the handle repeatedly. A trolley sample that has not been abused has not really been approved.
